We’ve stripped out all the unnecessary details, giving you a grounding based on what you need to know to become a credible DJ and go from bedroom to booth in no time. You’ll learn step-by-step with our experienced tutors in a fun relaxed environment, continuing to practice everything you've learnt from the previous lesson whilst simultaneously moving forward. No matter if you’re looking for DJ courses and classes for beginners or slightly more advanced lessons, we have something for you.

No pressure, take your lessons whenever it suits you. Each 1-hour session can be booked at your convenience, in either 1 or 2-hour slots. Enjoy the freedom to complete your lessons over time, with vouchers and lessons valid for 2 years from the original purchase date.

Level 1: Beginner

Duration: 1 Hour/2 Hour Lessons

About: Our first lesson is excellent for beginners who are entirely new to DJing. This is what we’ll cover. The course is 1 hour long and is perfect for someone who knows little about DJing and needs an introduction in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

This is what we’ll cover -

  • Everything starts with a mindset. Learn how to think like a DJ and what it takes to become distinguished.

  • We take you over the functions of our pioneer mixer and CDJs including Rekordbox.

  • In this section, we’ll take you through the journey of learning how to beat-match, phase-match and transitions.

  • You’ll learn everything about EQ and filtering in this section and complete your first mix.

Level 2: Beginner+

Duration: 1 Hour/2 Hour Lessons

Expertise: Beginner with some to little experience

About: This lesson is a great place to start if you have some experience DJing, know your way around a mixer and understand the fundamentals but would like to take your craft further. It’s also the lesson you’ll transfer onto once you’ve passed the beginner course

This is what we’ll cover -

  • What mixing in key is and how to use it correctly plus an inside industry trick you can use to increase the energy of your mix that will sound perfect everytime.

  • The various ways you can monitor your music and the importance of this key element of DJing.

  • Learn how to correctly setup your eqipment ro create a clean, balanced and dynamic recording.

  • We’ll go over the importance of makeup gain and levels.

Level 3: Intermediate

Duration: 1 Hour/2 Hour Lessons

About: Our intermediate lesson is excellent for beginners who are entirely new to DJing. This is what we’ll cover. The course is 1 hour long and is perfect for someone who knows little about DJing and needs an introduction in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

This is what we’ll cover -

  • Here we’ll take you over how the importance organization and preparing your music in advanced.

  • Getting in the slightly more advanced stuff, our tutors show you how to get out of difficult mixes with ease. Exceptionally important at live gigs. We’ll also cover secret transition techniques used by the pros.

  • Learn how to correctly setup your equipment to create a clean, balanced and dynamic recording.

  • What mixing in key is and how to use it correctly plus an inside industry trick you can use to increase the energy of your mix that will sound perfect every time.

Level 4: Intermediate +

Duration: 1 Hour/2 Hour Lessons

Expertise: Intermediate +

About: This lesson is a great place to start if you have some experience DJing, know your way around a mixer and understand the fundamentals but would like to take your craft further.

Level 5: Prime DJ (Final Exam)

Duration: 1 Hour/2 Hour Lessons

Expertise: Prime DJ

About: This lesson is for those with all the knowledge and skills to do a great set but just need that extra push of confidence for gigs.

This is what we’ll cover -

  • Everything starts with mindset. Learn how to think like a DJ and what it takes to become great.

  • We take you over the functions of our pioneer mixer and CDJs including serato. Everything from how to connect the speakers up to how every button works is covered.

  • You’ll learn everything about EQ and filtering in this section and complete your first mix. If you’re ready!

 FAQs

  • Of course! Most of our students come to us having never been near a pair of turntables. Our beginner course is designed to ease you into DJing gently in a fun relaxed environment.

  • Due to limited availability, we can only accept 5 new clients into our masterclass courses each month. Across our entire client base, we offer 80 one-hour sessions per month. This ensures high-quality instruction for our clients and flexibility for our tutors. This means sessions are available only at pre-scheduled times below and are limited to a first come first served basis.

    Mondays - 6-8pm

    Tuesdays - 1-3pm/6-8pm

    Wednesday - 6-8pm

    Thursdays - 6-8pm

    Fridays -  6-8pm

    Saturdays  - 1pm-6pm

    Sundays - 5-8pm

  • All our lessons are private 1-on-1 sessions. It will always be just yourself and a tutor.

  • Our studio is based in Warrington town centre just next the Parr Hall and 20 minutes train ride from Liverpool and Manchester

  • All our lessons are charged at a flat rate of £25 per hour paid upfront before your lessons start time.

  • Of course! If you wish to have a session that extends over 1 hour, you simply need to book 2 times slots next to eachother on the calender.

  • If you are a total beginner we usually find our cleints need at least 25 hours of guided practice.

  • Just yourself and some sunglasses!
